Commercial Terms

Standard Terms of Carriage

Regulatory Framework:These carriage conditions operate under established European and international transport conventions including CMR for road freight and the Montreal Convention for air cargo.

1. Scope of Carriage & Subcontracting

Carriage terms govern overland, maritime, and air freight forwarding services. Unless otherwise agreed in a bespoke service contract, we reserve the right to engage certified partner linehaul hauliers and scheduled air carriers under standard international transport conventions.

2. Shipper Warranties & Dangerous Goods

The shipper warrants that all packages are adequately labeled, packaged to withstand standard transit handling, and accurately declared on the waybill. Unapproved hazardous goods or undeclared batteries are strictly prohibited.

3. Customs Clearance Obligations

The customer remains solely liable for duties, taxes, demurrage, or fines levied by customs border agencies due to incomplete commercial declarations or inaccurate HS tariff codes provided by the consignor or consignee.
